Haneke’s experience spans over 10 years across M&A, capital raising, private equity and real estate investments across Australia, India and Sri Lanka, with a particular focus on hospitality-led platforms. She brings a strong grounding in financial analysis and transaction execution, combined with a practical understanding of development feasibility, capital structuring and asset positioning.

Her work has involved advising on over AUD 5 billion of transactions, evaluating investment opportunities and supporting capital deployment across both public and private markets. She has experience across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, structuring and execution.

In addition, Haneke has worked closely with hospitality operators in Sri Lanka, supporting the development and operations of boutique hotel and F&B concepts, with involvement across capital raising, structuring, stakeholder management and operational planning.

Alongside her professional experience, she has also supported academic teaching in Corporate Finance, Valuations and Real Estate Investment at Columbia University in New York, reinforcing her technical grounding in financial and investment frameworks.

Professional Background

Haneke has over 10 years of experience across investment banking, private equity and real estate investing in Australia, India and Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining TWC, she was a Senior Associate at Brookfield Asset Management within the Real Estate Investments team, working across both public and private equity strategies. She previously worked as an Investment Manager in traditional private equity at Tanarra Capital, a diversified alternative asset manager with over AUD 3.5 billion in funds under management, where she was responsible for investment sourcing, financial modelling, due diligence and Investment Committee processes across diversified sectors.
Haneke began her career at Macquarie Capital, where she spent six years in investment banking, focusing on M&A and Equity Capital Markets advisory, and advised on over AUD 5 billion of transactions across consumer, healthcare and industrial sectors. During this time, she also served as Co-President of the Australian Junior Women in Investment Banking Association.
In addition, she worked as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University in New York, supporting courses in Corporate Finance, Valuations and Real Estate Investment.
In parallel, Haneke has worked closely with a hospitality platform in Sri Lanka, supporting capital raising, structuring, stakeholder engagement and development execution for boutique hotel and F&B concepts.

Educational Background

Haneke holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School in New York City, where she graduated with Dean’s Honors with Distinction (Top 5%) and was awarded the Suresh Balaraman Prize (Top Finance Student). During her time at Columbia Business School, Haneke served as the Co-President - Real Estate Association and Vice President, Collaborations – Hospitality & Travel Association.

She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
